Chicago, Ill. — It is more than three weeks since the governor of Illinois and the mayor of the city of Chicago issued “stay at home” mandates in the face of the coronavirus outbreak. These are tentatively scheduled to expire on April 30. If such did occur, the American Field would be up and running “full speed” by Monday, May 4.
The 20th Century Fund is a division of the AFTCA that, on a yearly basis, distributes funding to member clubs utilizing grounds and facilities throughout the United States.
This funding is generally in the amount of $18,000 – $20,000 total. In the past 12 years, over $228,000 has been awarded to enhance field trials and bird populations.
