This past year, 20 applicants were awarded grant money in the amount of $20,750.00. Grants were as follows:
• Georgia Field Trial Club: $1,000
• Ames Amateur Field Trial Club: $1,000
• Cedar Valley Field Trial Club: $500
• Moran Field Trial Club: $1,000
• West Texas Field Trial Club: $500
Thanks to AFTCA members who have already sent in short stories and photos describing how their clubs have used money awarded by the 20th Century Fund for improvements to their field trial grounds. The 20th Century Fund is a division of the AFTCA that, on a yearly basis, distributes funding to member clubs utilizing grounds and facilities throughout the United States.
This funding is generally in the amount of $18,000 – $20,000 total. In the past 12 years, over $228,000 has been awarded to enhance field trials and bird populations.
