Preparing
and submitting a Field Trial Report
Dear
Club Official or Correspondent:

The proper
preparation of a field trial write-up can assist greatly
in the timely publication of your club's trial results.
Here are some guidelines to assist you.
Neatly prepared copy, double-spaced with at least one-inch
margins is customary manuscript format and shall be appreciated.

Please
double-check the spelling of participants' names and give
your text a final reading before submitting. Please be
sure that all photos are properly captioned.

All
material - Essential Data forms, photos, text and any
other pertinent information - should be submitted at the
same time.

You
may wish to submit your report on a computer disk. This
is surely a time-saving device. ASCII (American Standard
for Code Information Interchange) - pronounced Ask - ee
-- is a format that is universally read by all computers;
every application program has some way of saving whatever
you create in an ASCII format.

you have difficulty figuring out how to save text in this
manner, contact us at The Field and we'll refer you to someone
who can assist you.)
