Important Notice

Dear Club Official:

Best wishes for a successful scheduled field trial. Please read the following information carefully.
Editorial policy has always been that the results and write-ups of a completed field trial are to be forwarded to The American Field Within thirty days following completion of the trial.
"Old news is no news!" There is little or not interest in an event that has held several months ago; readers want current news and should be able to expect it. Owners whose dogs win should be able to expect reports published within a reasonable time frame.
Thus: All field trial results and reports must be forwarded to The American Field no later than thirty days after the start of a recognized trial. Any reports received more than ninety days after the advertised start of a trial will receive only limited coverage; any results of a trial received later than 180 days after a trial is held will not be recognized.
It is anticipated that some will have a good reason for a late report. There are no good reasons and no exceptions to the above policies will be made.
It is incumbent on club officials to ensure that all paperwork is properly submitted at the same time. This includes; Forms for Essential Data listing the winners; a neatly prepared write-up if one is to be included; photos with proper identification, and any remittance to cover cost of any special illustrations.

Sincerely,

The American Field  Publishing company
