National Amateur Shooting Dog Invitational

This stake is relatively new by A.F.T.C.A. Championship standards

being initiated in the 1991-1992 season.

While those invited to this stake earn their points in hour (or longer)

shooting dog competition, it operates by the same rules as its all age counterpart.

Unlike the all age correlative it does not have a permanent

home and has enjoyed venues from Florida to Texas to Illinois.

Performing three days at a level necessary to win is no easy feat.

This championship has been credited with encouraging more endurance

in the shooting dog field and considered a noteworthy addition to the list of

National Amateur Championships.
