This Championship is one of the more recent titles to be put into competition,

however, has had great support from many states with nice

numbers of entries and plentiful game supply.

Since its inception in 1990 it has been held at the Buena Vista Grassland

near Wisconsin Rapids, WI, which is home to the Greater

Prairie Chicken and an occasional covey of quail.
