| National Amateur Pheasant Championship
Killdeer Plains near Harpster, OH, has been adopted as the home of this event. It falls into the rotation with other pheasant events there, usually taking the stage after the middle of October. These winners are expected to perform at all age range and handle satisfactorily, the ring neck for which the stake is named. Bob White Quail will be found on the area and it is not uncommon for a dog to have contact with both game birds. |
