Since its inception this Championship has been contested over

the cover areas near Woodstock, NB.

The traditional starting date is the Canadian Thanksgiving,

or second week end in October.

This fixture draws dogs from both sides of this International border

with several states usually represented.

Both Woodcock and Grouse abound in the area

at this particular time of year.
